1. Introduction
Nibras World Virtual School (“Nibras”) provides its digital education platform (the “Platform”) with the approval and cooperation of relevant education authorities, partner organizations, and stakeholders committed to accessible, high-quality virtual learning (the “Named Subscriber”). These services are made available to you (the “User”) subject to these Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”).
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using any part of the Nibras platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with registration or platform usage. Access to Nibras’s platform, learning content, and digital resources is provided free of charge. Students may register and participate in all available courses at no cost, unless they opt to pursue an accredited certificate.
2. Eligibility and Enrollment
- Registration is open to students who meet any academic, technical, or course-specific prerequisites.
- All required fields in the registration screen must be filled in accurately, including full name, email, phone number, nationality, and age group.
- Nibras reserves the right to verify the accuracy of provided data and reject or revoke access if any information is found to be invalid or misleading.
3. User Accounts and Access
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
- Sharing credentials or unauthorized use of another user’s account is strictly prohibited.
- Nibras and its partners are not responsible for unauthorized activity resulting from compromised accounts.
4. Educational Use of Platform
The platform is intended for educational use only. All users must:
- Engage respectfully and responsibly in academic activities;
- Submit original work that reflects their own understanding;
- Follow the instructions provided by the platform management team.
5. Academic Integrity
Plagiarism, cheating, the use of unapproved third-party tools (including AI tools unless permitted), and any other form of academic dishonesty are violations of this agreement.
Any breach may lead to disciplinary measures, including suspension or expulsion from the platform.
6. Attendance and Participation
- Students must regularly log in, attend courses and lessons, and complete assignments on time, as needed.
- Parents are encouraged to monitor their child’s engagement and notify support in case of absence.
- Repeated failure to engage may result in academic intervention or disenrollment.
7. Digital Conduct and Behavior
All users (students, parents, and platform management team) must adhere to the following:
- Be respectful in all online communications;
- Avoid disruptive behavior, hate speech, harassment, or bullying;
- Use the platform in a way that fosters a safe, inclusive, and constructive learning space.
8. Intellectual Property and Platform Use
- All platform content (text, images, videos, materials and documentation) is protected by copyright and is the intellectual property of Nibras or its licensed partners.
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use content for commercial or non-educational purposes without written consent.
- Content is licensed for individual, limited use during the course duration only.
9. Use of Devices and Software
- Students may be required to use certain software, applications, or hardware to access learning.
- Use of personal or school-provided devices must comply with Acceptable Use Policy for Nibras’s and its licensed partners.
- Unauthorized software installation, file sharing, or access to inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
In line with international standards and the privacy policies of our partners, we are committed to:
- Collecting only the data necessary for registration and use of the platform (e.g., full name, email, phone number, progress, and engagement);
- Securing your personal information through appropriate encryption and administrative safeguards;
- Restricting access to authorized staff members for educational purposes only;
- Never selling or sharing student data with third parties, except as required by law or with prior notification.
11. Platform Availability and Limitations
- The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
- While every effort is made to ensure uninterrupted service, Nibras does not guarantee constant availability.
- We are not responsible for service interruptions due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.
12. Suspension and Termination of Access
Nibras reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services under the following conditions:
- Violation of these Terms and Conditions;
- Non-compliance with academic or behavioral standards;
- Breach of data security or platform misuse.
13. Changes to the Terms
Nibras reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes will be posted on the platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Where appropriate, you will be notified by email or an in-platform alert.
14. Access and Certification Fees
Nibras is made available to all students regardless of age group, background, or geographic location. Access to the Nibras platform, including course enrollment, educational content, materials, and online learning resources, is completely free of charge to ensure inclusive and equitable educational opportunities. However, students who wish to obtain an accredited certificate from our certification partner, City & Guilds, will be required to pay the applicable certification fees. These fees are strictly related to the certification process and do not affect students’ ability to access or complete the courses.
